Lowes offers 10% discount for veterans on purchases up to $1,000 at one time.

Home Depot offeres 10% discount for veterans on purchases up to $500 at one time. Discounts cannot be taken on merchandise that is reduced for other reasons.

As long as they still have all of their privileges, such as a valid military ID they can shop at the commissary. The veteran should have been told if they had this privilege, and if not, when it would expire.

I visited the local Applebee's on Concord Pike in Wilmington, Delaware this past Friday. They said that they only give military discounts on Veteran's Day.

I also took advantage of that sale...It was out of this world! I only wish more stores would offer such great savings, as I'm now a frequent shopper at my Job Lots!

Best deals I find at the commissary are fresh foods, bar none, and frozen foods. It's the stuff around the edges, so to speak, anything cold or frozen as well, that takes my breath away, price-wise. Also, remember that, unless you know that you'd buy the name brand because you actually prefer it, and therefore will save the sales tax (depending on where you live) you might do better if you'd buy the generic or store brand at a big box store or even a small store if you know it's really a lot cheaper, even with tax. Also, take into consideration how much store-hopping will cost in gas and time. Gas is money, but so is your time, and you have other things to do, too.

I just found this website. Anyway, I have not ran across this often, but I found a coupon in my Dentist's office for Reach floss that states "No more than 4 coupons per item" With the new coupon policy and being new to this area and commissary...I'm not willing to push it on an item I'm already getting .25 for on an overage.

Not sure if you have received your answer...but they will and are required to accept ANY internet coupon unless it is for a totally free item. It must be in English, not expired and have the scannable barcodes. If you are having problems with your commissary, carry the coupon policy with you, ask for management...when all else fails...Contact DECA themselves. They respond extremely fast via FB.

well, tmobile says 23% but discouraged me from geing a discount because something like " oh you're already getting disount because your a loyalty plan memeber,,, Hah! i pay neary $90 monthly and no data, no gps, no nothing just txt, voice , cheapo phone, somethings wrong with these offered discounts

It doesnt include retired veterans because there are plenty of discounts that we, as retired veterans get to partake in not to mention the time to do it! Let the active duty troops have a piece of the fun pie for a change!

It took them almost a year to activate the discount and then gave a bunch of excuses why and wouldnt credit us for the missing discounts in the previous months. What a joke. You have to got to the store and show them the active duty members ID, not a dependent.. then you have to fill out a form,... then they tell you it can take a few weeks or more to process... dont bother.

AT&T sucks, dont do it. They only give a 10% discount to one phone line not to all on the plan. You are only saving about $9.00 a month. I can't wait for our contact to expire....
